Luke Shaw a deschis scorul în minutul 33, cu un șut superb, cu pământul, care l-a păcălit pe Roos. Celelalte două goluri ale diavolilor au fost semnate de Odion Ighalo (41′ și 70′), aflat la debut în Cupa Angliei.
